With a sublime structure, the Cabeca Veada Fine presents a thin grain with a very uniform background and a medium hardness. This is a light beige/whitish coloured limestone with a slightly brown grain. It can also present occasional irregular veinage and shades. The Cabeca Veada Fine is a direct alternative to the well-known Moleanos limestone, which has attained a substantial international growth during the past decade.
The extraction is done by several large quarries in Portugal that normally produce large blocks. This limestone is mostly used on cladding, flooring and stonework.
