The Brecha Maritima exposes a very similar structure to the Brecha Algarve, it has a medium grain followed by a considerable hardness and a unique colour range with grey, gold and crystal areas. This is one of the most relevant Brecha limestones from Portugal, which is extracted in the main limestone region of the country.
The quarries have a small to medium dimension and the blocks can assume any size. It currently detains a substantial presence in the internal market.
