Description

Red coloured marble with a well-defined white vein and strong signs of calcite. This stone presents a quite irregular background and a medium grain. The main coloration might vary from light to dark red. Known as one of the most important red marbles in Turkey, the Burdur Red has achieved a considerable internal market in the last decades.

The international reception has also been quite demanding with a great potential for future growth. The Burdur Red is extracted by a few quarries with medium dimensions.
