Dark grey limestone, characterized by lighter and darker shaded areas and uniform background. The Gris Europa is a great grey limestone, due to its beautiful colour, looks and considerable hardness. Its main variations depend mostly on the grain uniformity and colour tone variations. But overall, this limestone presents quite an uniform colour and look. It is a great choice for all sorts of small decoration projects.
This limestone is extracted in the area of Kilkenny – Ireland, but we manufacture it in Portugal. This is today a strong competitor to the well-known Pierre Bleue (or Petit Granit) from Belgium.
