The massive American Embassy in the Dominican Republic is another reference project supplied by our network. This construction has made use of almost 20.000m2 of Cabeca Veada limestone is a variety of different applications.
The whole exterior surface of the building and certain surrounding areas were covered with Cabeca Veada limestone. This project was supplied with exactly 18.000m2 of Cabeca Veada panels in the form of two main finishings, honed and split-face. In terms of applications, the embassy’s walls and structures were fully covered with this beige limestone from Portugal. Additionally, the exterior flooring was exclusively made from Cabeca Veada and the American eagle sculptured in one of the embassy’s walls showcases a high degree of stonework.
